High Terrain South of the Yukon River-Upper Chena River Valley-

Including the cities of Chena Hot Springs Road east of MP 34,
Eagle Summit, Chandalar DOT Camp, Gobblers Knob, Chena Hot
Springs, Arctic Village, the Elliott Highway from MP 1 to MP 32,
Iniakuk Lake, the Dalton Highway from MP 0 to MP 38, Wiseman, the
Steese Highway from MP 85 to MP 124, the Steese Highway from MP
12 to MP 85, Finger Mountain, Coldfoot, Twelvemile Summit, the
Dalton Highway from MP 165 to MP 232, the Elliott Highway from MP
32 to MP 134, Prospect Creek, Livengood, the Yukon River Bridge,

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 9 PM AKDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph
  expected. The strongest winds are expected above 2000 feet
  elevation.

* WHERE...Chatanika River Valley, Dalton Highway Summits, South
  Slopes Of The Central Brooks Range, South Slopes Of The Eastern
  Brooks Range, Upper Chena River Valley, and White Mountains and
  High Terrain South of the Yukon River.

* WHEN...From 4 AM to 9 PM AKDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and may
  cause tree damage resulting in a few power outages.

* Additional details...These strong winds usher in a prolonged
  period of rainy weather so hunters and recreationists are
  encouraged to prepare for rising water levels on rivers and their
  tributaries.
