...A THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Moses Point to Sledge Island out to 15 NM...
  Sledge Island to Wales out to 15 NM...

At 837 PM AKDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm,
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. This
thunderstorm was located 10 miles west of Nome, moving west at 10
knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
