.DISCUSSION...
Relatively warm and dry conditions expected Monday ahead of
additional showers and cooler temperatures Tuesday. Southerly
winds increase over the mountains south of the fire late Monday,
but the strongest gusts will have difficulty mixing down to the
fire. Some southeasterly winds are expected with the occasional
southerly gust into the 10 to 15 mph range. These stronger winds
weaken Tuesday evening before winds shift to the northwest and
increase again Wednesday. Temperatures cool and chances of wetting
rain increases Tuesday, but isolated thunderstorms become
possible in the afternoon and evening. Storms are most likely east
of the fire making easterly winds the most likely direction for
an erratic outflow gust. Conditions become even cooler Wednesday
before warming again Thursday and Friday.
