.DISCUSSION...
Periods of light snow continue today and tomorrow. There may be
some light rain mixing in this afternoon as temperatures rise into
the mid 30s, but it will turn back to snow tonight. Snow
accumulations through tomorrow will be around an inch or two. Min
RHs will be very high, around 85 to 90% today and tomorrow. Winds
will be light and variable at the surface with a light southwest
wind at ridgetop level. Winds at ridgetop level will strengthen
slightly tomorrow afternoon, up to 15 mph from the southwest. Our
morning weather balloon launch is showing an inversion which is
very shallow, around 100 feet in depth. This will burn off later
this morning. Another very shallow inversion is likely tonight
given the similar conditions, and that too will burn off late in
the morning tomorrow.
