.DISCUSSION...
Tonight a front will move over the fire most likely around 1 am
to 5 am. This front will have weakened substantially by the time
it reaches the fire keeping winds generally light tonight.
Currently there are some prefrontal showers and very isolated
thunderstorms in the vicinity of the fire and these are expected
to increase in frequency with the front passage later tonight.
Isolated postfrontal showers will remain Sunday morning ahead of
another, stronger front the approaches Sunday night. This next
front will bring more widespread showers with higher chances of
wetting rain Sunday night through Tuesday, but will be too wet to
have much thunderstorm potential, although there is still a non-
zero chance of extremely isolated embedded thunderstorms amongst
the showers. Winds will shift behind the front around midnight
Sunday night to westerly with ridgetop winds up to 25 mph and
valley winds around 15 mph for areas not sheltered from the west.
These winds will decrease by about 10 mph by noon Monday.
Temperatures cool significantly behind this second front with
highs falling into the 60s Monday. Minimum RHs are expected to
climb from the 40s Sunday well past 50 Monday and remain high
through at least Wednesday.
