Showers are expected to begin tonight and persist into the weekend as a low pressure building out to the west moves east. Isolated thunderstorms are possible tonight as a westerly moving cold front passes with a high chance of wetting rains tonight and tomorrow. Winds at the surface are expected to shift from southerly to westerly increasing to around 10 mph as the front passes. Ridgetop winds will become breezy as well with similar timing and directions as the surface, but increasing from 12 to 15 mph to around 25 mph with the frontal passage tonight.
