.DISCUSSION...
Gusty east-northeast winds are aloft and at ridgetop level. We can
see these winds on radar pushing the convective plume off to the west.
These northeasterly winds will continue until a wind shift to the
southwest occurs around 2200 AKDT. We are expecting the fire to stay
until well after midnight as those southwest winds push on it and
humidities stay low. Southwest winds remain gusty and continue on
Sunday. Temperatures and humidities will be similar to today.
Visibilities will continue to be impacted by smoke tonight and
Sunday. I
