569 FNAK79 PAFG 130413 FWSAFG Spot Forecast for 7 Mile Lookout Fire...SA Gray Team National Weather Service Fairbanks AK 813 PM AKDT Sat Jul 12 2025 Forecast is based on forecast start time of 0700 AKDT on July 13. If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION... FAA web camera in Tok showed some showers in the direction of this fire last evening. It is unclear if any light rain occurred. This spot assumes there was no rain. The isolated showers and thunderstorms yesterday were in the northeast flow around a high pressure ridge. This ridge moves over this fire today and then east of it on Monday. That will result in more warm and dry conditions today with relatively light terrain driven winds. Monday the wind flow over this higher terrain turns more southwesterly. That should enhance the upslope winds on this aspect. There is a slight chance for thunderstorms again this afternoon but a better chance Monday afternoon and night. Wetting rains are possible only if a storm moves directly over this fire. .TODAY/SUNDAY... Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny (45-55 percent). Areas of smoke.
