.DISCUSSION...
Key Messages...
- Winds will be strongest from the south/southwest early Monday
night with gusts up to 35 mph possible. Winds diminish late
Monday night and remain relatively light and variable through
the middle of the week, reducing concerns for wind driven fire
spread.
- Isolated light rain showers are expected across portions of the
Interior Monday night through Tuesday. Rainfall amounts are
generally expected to remain light with limited potential for
additional wetting rain.
- A gradual warming trend is expected through the week. As
temperatures increase afternoon minimum RH values will trend
downward, although isolated showers should prevent significant
drying. Overnight RH recoveries are expected to remain high in
areas of increased shower activity.
