.DISCUSSION...
Key Messages...
- Showers linger from the White Mtns to the Fortymile but
gradually diminish in coverage through the day.
- Temperatures will be seasonably cool, in the upper 60s across
much of the Interior today, but increase into the 70s to near 80
through the weekend.
- Min RHs drop to around 35 to 45% in most valley locations today.
Widespread min RHs in the 30 to 40% range on Friday with
Saturday being the driest day, around 30 to 35%. Some spots will
likely make it near 25%, especially in the Tanana Valley.
- By Sunday and the beginning of next week, a low from the Bering
is expected to approach, bringing southwest flow and the
potential for quite a bit of precipitation, especially for the
Western Interior. Central and Eastern Interior are expected to
be drier with chinook flow through the Alaska Range possible.
