.DISCUSSION...
Lingering showers remain for parts of the Interior that will
persist through the day on Saturday. Strong northwest winds will
continue across the Upper Tanana Valley today, with gusts to 25
mph. Weaker northwest winds are expected in the White Mountains
and northern parts of the Fortymile Country. Sunday looks to be
mainly dry as higher pressure builds in from the west, though RHs
will remain above 40% and temperatures will likely reach the lower
to mid 60s. A cold front will begin to approach the Interior from
the northwest Sunday evening, bringing rain to those zones
overnight. No thunderstorms are expected.
