.DISCUSSION...
Key Messages...
- Wet conditions continue for most of the area, with generally
0.10 to 0.50 inches of rain forecasted for the Interior and
Yukon Flats each day through the end of the week. Heaviest
amounts, between 0.5" and 1.0" possible for the northeastern
Yukon Flats on Thursday. Precipitation amount lessen as the
weekend approaches
- Temperatures slowly warm over the next several days. By Monday
temperatures are expected to be in the mid to upper 70s for the
Central Interior, and 80s for the Yukon Flats. Min RH equally
trends downwards, reaching 30 to 40 percent by Monday. Driest in
the Yukon Flats and Upper Tanana.
- There will be isolated thunderstorms across the Interior over
the next several days, but at this time not expecting large
lightning numbers.
