.DISCUSSION...
Overnight tonight and into tomorrow, clouds, rain showers and
higher RH (60-80%) will move into the Central Interior. The
Eastern Interior will remain dry, with minimum RH values today and
tomorrow ranging from 30-45%, particularly in the Upper Tanana
Valley and the Yukon Flats. The strongest winds coinciding with
this dry air will be Thursday afternoon, where west winds will
range from 10-15 mph. Thursday Night into Friday, the arrival of
the storm system from out west will bring scattered rain showers
(50-60% chance) and keep RH values above 50%. However, there will
be a surge of wind associated with frontal passage in the Upper
Tanana, where gusts of up to 40 mph out of the west-northwest will
be possible Friday into Friday Night.
