Key Messages...
- Temperatures are expected to warm through the beginning of
next week as the high pressure system centered over the Central
and Eastern Interior strengthens. High temperatures could reach
80 as early as Thursday in the Middle/Upper Tanana Valley and
Yukon Flats. Even with the warming temperatures, min RHs are
expected to remain above critical levels for now.
- This weather pattern will also cause winds to be light and
variable across the region, including at higher elevations.
- Isolated shower/thunderstorm activity emerges in different
portions of the region each day as very weak disturbances
interact with the high pressure system.
