Key Messages...
- Showers east of Fairbanks will become more isolated Saturday
evening. Widespread wetting rains return Sunday morning through
Monday, bringing 0.10 to 0.50 inches of rain, with snow at
elevations above 3000 to 4000 feet.
- West to southwest winds with gusts between 25 and 35 mph across
the Central Interior will weaken Saturday evening. Sunday night,
a second round of west to northwest winds with gusts peaking
between 20 and 40 mph, strongest across higher terrain, mountain
passes, and the Tanana Valley.
- Tempertures trend cooler through Monday night then warm through
midweek.
