.DISCUSSION...
Key Messages...
- Warmer and drier conditions continue Monday with highs in the
mid 60s and minimum RH values in the 40s. Temperatures cool and
RHs rise Tuesday as rain moves towards the area.
- Southerly winds increase through the Alaska Range passes late
Monday and last through midday Tuesday.Gusts peak in Isabel Pass
south of Delta in the 40-50 mph range with lesser gusts in the
30 to 40 mph range possible through other passes.
- Chances of wetting rains increase Tuesday as showers move into
the area. Isolated thunderstorms are expected near the Canadian
Border Tuesday afternoon as well. Chances diminish somewhat
Wednesday and then further Thursday although some isolated
showers will remain.
