.DISCUSSION...
An arctic front has moved across most of the Interior. Areas
along the Upper Tanana Valley and Fortymile country will continue
to see a slight chance for storms through the evening. Areas along
a line from Fort Yukon to McGrath, east, will continue to see
showers through the evening. Areas NW of this line will clear out
tonight, allowing for cooler temperatures in the mid to upper 30s.
Tomorrow will see some brief warming to the mid 60s with high
pressure forming behind the front. This will quickly move out with
the next approaching system out of the west, bringing more
showers through the end of the week. Winds will predominately be
out of the southwest tomorrow around 10 to 15 mph. These will
increase by Thursday afternoon with a low-level jet forming ahead
of this next system. Higher elevations will see an increase in
winds to around 15 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph.
