.DISCUSSION...A cold upper low progged to move over the central interior
continues to strengthen with each successive model run. This feature will bring
showers to the area with some chances for wetting rain, and even accumulating
snow near the Alaska Range. With the unseasonably cold air aloft, there will
also be instability and isolated thunderstorms this afternoon across the Upper
Kuskokwim Valley, Alaska Range, and across the Fortymile Uplands, and on
Wednesday east of Trims Camp to Dot Lake. RH remains mostly above 35% with
generally light and variable winds.
