...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM AKDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Koyukuk River near Hughes.

* WHEN...Until 400 PM AKDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1130 AM AKDT,

  - The gauge at Hughes reported a stage of 63.9 feet, minor
    flood stage is 64.0 feet and we expect a crest at 64.24 feet
    by 10 AM Sunday.

    - The river is forecasted to be above 64 feet through early
    Monday morning, then we begin to see it drop below minor
    flood stage.

    - There will be additional rainfall arriving Sunday and
    Monday, so while the river will be dropping on Monday, there
    may be another crest on Tuesday.
