...Higher Water Levels and an Ice Run Will Pass Fort Yukon Today...

A moderate to heavy run of ice from breakup and an ice jam along the
Porcupine River passed Fort Yukon last night. Ice runs thin today
with light runs of ice and high water levels from snowmelt expected
to continue through Friday. Downriver, light runs of ice can be
expected to pass Beaver and Stevens Village today and tomorrow. This
will be the final hydrologic update unless the forecast changes
considerably.
