Clusters of thunderstorms have developed both to the south and east of Middleton Island as well as west of Kayak Island this afternoon. These storms have had a history of producing frequent lightning. Mariners can expect erratic and gusty winds, locally higher waves, and frequent lightning strikes if around these storms. Additionally, small hail is possible in some of the stronger storms.
