...TRACE ASHFALL POSSIBLE DUE TO RESUSPENDED ASH FROM KATMAI-
NOVARUPTA OVER SHELIKOF STRAIT THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING...

Strong northwest winds gusting 40 to 50 mph out of bays and
passes along the northern Alaska Peninsula into Shelikof Strait.
These winds have resuspended ash from the 1912 Katmai-Novarupta
eruption, which has recently been observed on area webcams and
satellite imagery. Trace ashfall is possible across western parts
of Shelikof Strait through Tuesday morning. Winds will become
more northerly and slowly diminish on Tuesday, allowing
resuspended ash to settle out of the atmosphere.
