353 FGAK78 PAFC 182219 ESFAFC AKZ745-192300- Hydrologic Outlook National Weather Service Anchorage AK 219 PM AKDT Sat Jul 18 2026 ...SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT WILL BRING RIVER RISES AND LOCALIZED FLOOD POTENTIAL TO THE WESTERN SUSITNA VALLEY... * Yentna and Skwentna River basins * Tonight through Monday Night Rainfall: * Widespread rainfall of 1.5 to 2.5 inches of rain is expected in the western Susitna Valley through Monday Night. Hydrologic Concerns: * Expect sharp rises on many small streams and rivers. Crests are expected to occur on Tuesday for most streams and rivers, including the Yentna at Lake Creek. * Many lower locations along rivers such as gravel bars and other spots popular for camping and recreating may become inundated with water with rivers reaching bankfull conditions. * Heavy rain may result in localized ponding in low-lying areas and locations with poor drainage.
