.SYNOPSIS FOR THE WESTERN GULF OF ALASKA...

A surface trough lingers across the northern Gulf Coast with
strong northerly gap winds persistent through tonight. A 995 mb
low over southern Baranof Island moves to 56N 140W at 1002 mb mid-
morning Sun. This low exits southward back to the North Pacific
through Mon morning.
