...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM AKST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 45 below.

* WHERE...Mentasta, Isabel and Broad Passes.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM AKST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged
  exposure.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds and lowest wind chill
  temperatures are expected through the passes along the ALaska
  Range through Friday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM AKST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chill values as low as 25 below expected.

* WHERE...Western Prince William Sound, including Whittier and
  Seward.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM AKST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
  is exposed to these temperatures.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong and gusty offshore winds near both
  Whittier and Seward combined with temperatures in the single
  digits will produce windchill values as low as 15 to 25 below
  zero.  The coldest temperatures and windchill values are expected
  early this morning and early Friday morning.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
