A strong front will move into the Kenai Peninsula today, which
may bring some easterly winds at higher elevations this afternoon.
Otherwise, calm and dry conditions will persist through tonight
with little to no chance of precipitation. The winds shown in this
forecast should represent the higher end of possible wind speeds
towards the Prospect Heights trailhead and towards South Fork.
Closer to Hilltop Ski Area road the winds will likely be much less
than shown in the forecast or calm. If winds do increase today,
it will start around 2pm.
