Overall quiet conditions expected tonight with ongoing cloud cover. A
couple of systems will pass over the Northern Plains Wednesday
through early Thursday morning bringing the potential for light snow
and the possibility of light sleet and/or freezing rain. This looks
to be mainly for portions of northern and northeastern SD into west
central MN. Little to no ice accumulation is expected with snow
amounts less than an inch in accumulation. Our next chance of
precipitation will be Friday into Saturday. Probabilities of
exceeding 6 inches have increased to 20-40% west river/40-60% east
river north of I90.

Lows tonight will range in the single digits to around 12, warmest
over south central SD. Highs on Wednesday will range in the 20s to
around 40, again warmest over south central SD. Highs will be a bit
cooler on Thursday ranging in the mid teens to the upper 30s.
