High pressure will remain centered across the Dakotas and Minnesota
border region tonight into Thursday. Cooler temperatures and mostly
dry conditions will persist the next couple of days for most areas
with the exception of south central South Dakota. Another round of
showers and perhaps a thunderstorm or two will be possible on
Thursday in those areas. Warmer and dry conditions are expected to
settle into the region starting Friday and lasting through the
weekend into early next week.

Lows tonight will fall into the mid 50s to around 60 degrees. Highs
on Thursday will reach the upper 70s to low 80s east to the low to
mid 80s west. Coolest areas will be where clouds and showers hang
around most of the day. Hot temperatures in the 90s to low 100s will
be possible starting Friday.
