Low pressure over southern South Dakota today will exit over
southeastern South Dakota this afternoon and evening. Another day of
strong to potentially severe thunderstorms will be possible. There
is a marginal risk, level 1 out of 5, of severe weather this
afternoon into this evening over south central South Dakota. Winds up
to around 60 mph will be the main concern with the strongest storms.
Hail up to the size of dimes to quarters will also be possible.

Cooler high pressure over south central Canada will push a ridge over
much of our area through Wednesday, before exiting over Minnesota
and Wisconsin on Friday. Mainly dry weather is expected through
Friday over eastern South Dakota and western Minnesota.

Temperatures today will top out in the upper 70s to low 80s. After
lows in the low 60s, highs Wednesday will be in the mid to upper 70s.
