530 NZUS43 KABR 260823 SYNABR MNZ039-046-SDZ003>011-015>023-033>037-045-048-051-262230- Radio Weather Synopsis National Weather Service Aberdeen SD 323 AM CDT Thu Jun 26 2025 /223 AM MDT Thu Jun 26 2025/ Showers and thunderstorms will continue to affect portions of the listening area today as an upper level disturbance moves through the area. Precipitation chances are expected to shift east out of central South Dakota into the James Valley this morning and then linger across northeast South Dakota and west central Minnesota into the afternoon hours. No severe weather is anticipated with any of this activity, but some of the stronger storms could produce some locally heavy rainfall at times. Foggy conditions will also be problematic for some areas early this morning. Dense fog will be possible in the I-29 corridor and parts of the Glacial Lakes through about nine to ten o`clock this morning. The rain in the east will come to an end by late this afternoon, but cloud cover will remain tough to break. More sunshine and warmer temperatures are expected across central South Dakota by this afternoon. Dry conditions will be brief as another system quickly moves into the region Friday afternoon and Friday night and kicks off another round of thunderstorms, some of which could be severe with large hail and damaging winds possible. Highs today will remain in the upper 60s to low 70s east to the mid 70s to near 80 in the west. $$
