Radio Weather Synopsis
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
154 PM CST Sat Feb 22 2025 /1254 PM MST Sat Feb 22 2025/

Much warmer air will build across the Northern Plains through early
next week. Highs Sunday and Monday will be 20 to near 30 degrees
above seasonal normal values.

After lows in the 20s, temperatures will rise into the mid 40s and
50s over northeastern South Dakota and western Minnesota, while
jumping into the mid 50s to low 60s across central South Dakota.

Temperatures on Monday will be very similar to Sunday. The main
chance will be increasing winds out of the west, with gusts of 35 to
near 45 mph across central South Dakota. This will bring about
elevated fire weather conditions areas of central South Dakota that
have been snow free for several days. Our next, low, 30 percent
chance of light rain, will arrive Monday over far northern South
Dakota. Little to no rainfall is expected at this time.
