Highs Sunday and Monday will be 20 to near 30 degrees above seasonal normal values. After lows in the 20s, temperatures will rise into the mid 40s and 50s over northeastern South Dakota and western Minnesota, while jumping into the mid 50s to low 60s across central South Dakota. Temperatures on Monday will be very similar to Sunday. The main chance will be increasing winds out of the west, with gusts of 35 to near 45 mph across central South Dakota. This will bring about elevated fire weather conditions areas of central South Dakota that have been snow free for several days. Our next, low, 30 percent chance of light rain, will arrive Monday over far northern South Dakota. Little to no rainfall is expected at this time. $$ KF
