Much warmer air will build across the Northern Plains through early
next week. Highs today and Monday will be 20 to 30 degrees above
normal for this time of year.

After a dry day today, Monday will see increasing chances for light
rain across parts of north central and eastern South Dakota into west
central Minnesota. Rainfall amounts will generally be one tenth of an
inch or less. Central South Dakota will see wind gusts of 30 to 40
mph on Monday, which will aid in some elevated fire danger.

High temperatures today will range from the mid to upper 40s across
west central Minnesota and far northeastern South Dakota, to the
lower to mid 60s across south central South Dakota. Low temperatures
tonight will be in the lower to mid 30s. Highs on Monday will range
from the upper 40s across west central Minnesota, to the lower 60s
across south central South Dakota.
