Areas of near surface smoke are expected to persist into Saturday.
Slow moving showers and thunderstorms are possible over central and
north central South Dakota through late this evening. Some of the
storms this evening may be strong to severe across central and north
central South Dakota. Flash flooding is possible, as well, given the
expected slow-moving nature of thunderstorms late into this evening.
A second round of storms is possible across the region Saturday
afternoon into Saturday night.

Low temperatures tonight will drop into the upper 50s to mid 60s
throughout the listening area. High temperatures on Saturday should
warm back up into the 70s to around 80 degrees.
