National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
228 PM CST Tue Dec 9 2025 /128 PM MST Tue Dec 9 2025/

Low pressure continues to move through North Dakota towards eastern
South Dakota and western Minnesota. This is pushing warm air across
the area with temperatures above freezing for all but western
Minnesota and a small sliver of northeast South Dakota. Moisture
will continue to migrate east through the afternoon. Winds will shift
to the northwest and increase through the afternoon and evening as
well, peaking between 55 and 65 mph. Snow showers will wrap back into
far northeast South Dakota and western Minnesota overnight, and the
combined winds and snow could result in low visibility.

Temperatures tonight will drop into the teens and low 20s, with
readings back into the teens to near freezing for Wednesday.
