Radio Weather Synopsis
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
140 PM CDT Wed Sep 18 2024 /1240 PM MDT Wed Sep 18 2024/

Drier air punching into central South Dakota this afternoon will
combine with gusty south to southwest winds to increase fire danger.
A Red Flag Warning remains in effect into this evening. Across the
east, the drier air could help set off a few thunderstorms this
afternoon and evening, especially east of I-29 where there is a
slight risk (2 out of 5) for severe storms.

Southwest winds remain breezy on Thursday, but highs will only top
out in the mid 70s to around 80 degrees. Lows tonight fall into the
upper 50s to mid 60s.
