Showers and thunderstorms are expected across central and north
central South Dakota this afternoon. Precipitation should gradually
spread into northeast South Dakota and west central Minnesota this
evening, with additional showers and thunderstorms expected to
develop over this area. Excessive heavy rainfall is possible across
the region. There is also a low probability chance for some storms to
produce small hail and perhaps wind gusts up to 60 mph. After things
dry out on Saturday, another round of showers and thunderstorms
could be moving into portions of central and north central South
Dakota late Saturday night into Sunday morning.

High temperatures today will warm into the upper 80s to mid 90s. Low
temperatures tonight should fall generally into the 60s.
