A system moving up across the region today will bring showers to
mainly central and northeast South Dakota. There could be some
locally very strong storms that develop across central and eastern
South Dakota late this afternoon and into the evening hours as well,
primarily south of Highway 212. There storms will have the potential
to generate large hail and high winds.

Once this system pulls through, expect mostly dry conditions with
above normal temperatures, but for today, highs will top out in the
upper 70s to around 80.
