As high pressure departs, winds become southwesterly today with some
locally higher winds in the Sisseton Hills in the morning. A dry
cold front moves through during the afternoon and turns winds from
southwest to northwest. The strongest winds are expected over north
central South Dakota, with gusts reaching 35 to 45 miles per hour.
There are some elevated fire weather concerns in this area this
afternoon due to the strong winds.

Highs today will be in the low to mid 60s. Lows tonight will range
from the mid 30s to the upper 20s.
