Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to push eastward
this morning with the bulk of the precipitation over east central and
portions of northeastern SD later on this morning along and behind a
cold front. This cold front will exit the southeastern listening area
by midday or so along with the precipitation. Dry weather then
expected tonight and through the weekend as a high pressure system
will be dominant. We will continue with overall dry conditions
through at least the middle of next week being in this more stable
air mass.

Highs today will range in the upper 70s east of the James River to
the lower to upper 80s west of here. Lows tonight are forecasted in
the lower to mid 50s. A taste of Fall is then expected as
temperatures Saturday through Tuesday will run about 5 to 15 degrees
below normal, meaning highs is the 60s and 70s with lows in the 40s
and 50s.
