With a frontal boundary parking itself across southern South Dakota, there will be chances for showers and storms into the mid morning today and then another round this evening through the overnight and on Sunday. Some of these storms have the potential to become strong to severe, with the strongest storms capable of producing winds around 60 mph and hail up to the size of quarters. Winds of up to 20 mph will continue to be from the northeast to easterly direction though the day, with non-thunderstorm wind gusts up to 25 mph. Minimum relative humidity values will mainly stay over 60 percent Saturday and Sunday, except for portions of south central South Dakota. This are could see relative humidity values drop down around 45 to 50 percent.
