Winds will increase out of the southeast overnight, with gusts of 20 to 30 mph expected during the day Monday. An area of low pressure tracking across Kansas and Nebraska will bring light rain to the area Monday afternoon. There is a 30 percent chance of rainfall amounts in excess of 0.10 inches Wednesday afternoon south of a line from Eagle Butte to Watertown. Relative humidity values will fall to around 50 percent over central South Dakota, while falling to 35 to 45 percent over northeastern South Dakota and west central Minnesota. Precipitation will continue through Monday night, with the highest chance of light rain or snow staying across northeastern South Dakota. Dry weather is expected by around Tuesday through at least Wednesday.
