Winds will be out of the south to southeast today between 5 to 15 mph. They will be on the increase tonight through Monday, out of the southeast, with gusts of 20 to 30 mph by Monday afternoon. Minimum relative humidity this afternoon ranges from 35 to 60 percent, lowest James River Valley and eastward to west central Minnesota. Minimum relative humidity for Monday afternoon ranges from 40 to 60 percent, lowest again James River and eastward. The combination of drier fuels and marginal gusty winds for Monday results in the Grassland Fire Danger Index being High, mainly for locations east of the Missouri River to the Sisseton Hills.
