150 FNUS63 KABR 030725 RFDABR Rangeland Fire Danger Statement National Weather Service Aberdeen SD 225 AM CDT Thu Sep 3 2026 .DISCUSSION... There will be some isolated showers and storms until mid-morning today. There could be some dry lightning in these storms as not all of them have rain reaching the ground. After these showers clear out, precipitation will stay out of central and northeastern SD until this evening when there could be some showers and storms moving over far northeastern SD and west central MN. These storms have a marginal risk (level 1 of 5) to become severe, with hail up to 2 inches, wind gusts of 60 to 70 mph, and lightning possible. Winds will turn this morning to be from the south in the James River valley and to the east, with gusts up to 20 mph possible. Minimum relative humidity values in this area will be between 40 to 60 percent. Areas to the west of this will see winds from the southwest in the afternoon turning to become more westerly during the evening, with gusts up to 20 mph. Minimum relative humidity values in this area will be between 25 to 40 percent.
