Showers and thunderstorms over western South Dakota will slowly move eastward this evening and overnight. A few storms could be severe with large hail, and wind gust of 60 to 70 mph the main threats. Additional showers and storms can be expected on Thursday, with another round of severe storms possible over eastern South Dakota and western Minnesota. All hazards will be possible. Also, northwesterly winds with gusts of 45 to 55 mph will be possible, mainly along and west of the James River valley.
