.DISCUSSION...

Showers and thunderstorms continue today. Precipitation chances
persist across the area through Monday. There is a marginal risk for
severe storms on Monday across much of the region.

The minimum relative humidity is expected to remain above 50 percent
today. On Monday min RH will fall to 40 to 45 percent along and
west of the Missouri River.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture content of grasses,
and other dry organic material on the ground, indicate that the
probability of a fast moving fire is low.  Outdoor burning under
these conditions can usually be performed with reasonable safety
precautions, but should be monitored.


The outlook for Monday afternoon...The grassland fire danger index
will reach the low category.
