.DISCUSSION...

Rain showers move out of the area today, but moisture remains high
over the forecast area today. Minimum relative humidity will be
above 50 percent this afternoon and Tuesday, with the exception of
areas west of the Missouri River getting below 40 percent Tuesday.
Winds will be out of the south through at 5 to 10 miles per hour,
gusting up to 15 to 20 through Tuesday.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture content of grasses,
and other dry organic material on the ground, indicate that the
probability of a fast moving fire is low.  Outdoor burning under
these conditions can usually be performed with reasonable safety
precautions, but should be monitored.


The outlook for Tuesday afternoon...The grassland fire danger index
will reach the low category.
