This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota,
central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Dense fog will persist until mid morning across northeast South
Dakota. Localized visibilities could be below a quarter of a mile at
times and vary quickly from one location to another. Foggy conditions
are likely to continue into at least the midday hours and longer
especially in the higher elevations of the Sisseton Hills.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

There is a slight risk (level 2 of 5) for severe weather Friday and
Friday night for central and northeast South Dakota and again for
northeast South Dakota and west central Minnesota on Saturday and
Saturday night. The main threats will be large hail up to 2 inches
in diameter, locally damaging winds in excess of 60-70 mph and a
tornado or two.

Spotter activation may be requested on Friday and Friday night.
Weather spotters are encouraged to submit reports to the National
Weather Service in Aberdeen. The public can submit reports on our web
