This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota,
central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Elevated grassland fire danger this afternoon for much of the region
as humidity drops to between 20 and 30 percent, while westerly winds
gust from 20 mph (I-90 corridor) to 35 mph (north central/northern
South Dakota).

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Potential for the pattern to evolve into one that supports a period
of strong to severe storms may develop by Monday. The Storm
Prediction Center highlights eastern South Dakota and western
Minnesota in a 15 percent chance for severe thunderstorms within 25
miles of a given point on Monday. Stay tuned to the latest forecasts
to see how this threat evolves over the coming days.
