This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota,
central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected through the morning with
lightning and heavy rain being the main threats. Pea size hail and
wind gust of 50 mph are also possible. Precipitation will diminish
from the northwest to southeast through the midday over the forecast
area.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected through the midday. There is
a marginal risk (level 1 out 5) for some of those storms to become
severe with the main threats being quarter size hail, wind gusts of
60 mph, and heavy rain.

Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible
through the midday, especially for areas that are already saturated
from this summer`s rains.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be requested. Weather spotters are encouraged
to submit reports to the National Weather Service in Aberdeen. The
public can submit reports on our web page, Facebook page, or our X
feed.
