Heat index values up to 105 degrees are expected this afternoon into early this evening. There is a Slight Risk, level 2 out of 5, of severe weather late this afternoon through tonight, mainly west of a line from Pierre to Gettysburg, Aberdeen, and Britton. If storms move into the area, the main threats will be hail of 1 inch in diameter and wind gusts well in excess of 60 mph. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Heat index values up to 105 degrees are expected Sunday afternoon into Sunday evening. There is a Marginal Risk, level 1 out of 5, of severe weather Sunday night east of a line from Eureka to Gettysburg, and across the entire area Monday night.
